The Ultimate Concert for Sir Paul McCartney

I hope everybody is breathing better and practicing pursed-lip exercises. Macca played Dodger Stadium last night. Posting a video of opening...The stadium staff was great getting me into the concert, had a buggy from the car park straight to the gates between the outfield seats. Security didn't even look through my oxygen concentrator accessory bag, nor my camera bag. They just waved that wand up and down that was that. Thank you very much...

Leaving was entirely different with 56,000 people filing out and my friend wanted to make it to the car as fast as possible to beat the traffic. The buggy ride service couldn't make it to me for over an hour...so we walked. I had to stop several times and had to tell my friend (as he chatted away 19 to the dozen) I couldn't walk, breathe, and answer his questions all at the same time.

Paul and his band were great as usual and this being the last (ultimate) concert, he delivered a special treat by having Ringo Starr come out and play on a couple of songs. Definitely outweighed my struggle to attend...and I can't wait to see him again.

I hope you have a passion in life to keep you going. I love music, listening, playing guitar, and piano, and writing new arrangements. COPD will not stop me!

How great and it sounds like you had a wonderful time. I saw Macca many years ago when his wife Linda was alive. It was at Wembley and my sister and I loved it. It was partly coz we had both been big Beatles fans. x

Thank you, Ergendl. Keep the fingers moving and cerebral cortex solving the theoretical tricks as well, such as running the cycle of fourths/fifths with all dominant 7th chords gives you a chromatic melody in the infrastructure of the chords. I'm writing a book of Beatle Chord Melody arrangements for Guitar.

I've had a copy of the cycle of 5ths on my desk top for several years.

Thank you, Myownidea. I love this support group. Very articulate with a complete understanding of our COPD condition and what it feels like. I've even taken a screenshot into my pulmonologist here to answer a question. Dr. Ahmed looked at me over the rim of his glasses and said...well, you know, in medicine, the US is behind the UK and Europe.
