I sort of thought that I might not reach my 70th birthday after all the ups and downs this year. Fortunately I did, and my two daughters arranged a vintage tea party for me at the local club. They did a wonderful job and everyone said how well they had done. The cake they ordered had 2 greyhounds on the top, modelled like Fidget and Scooter. I could put dozens of photos up but I shall just pick one, and I won't tell you if I'm in it or not!!!!!!! I asked for donations rather than presents. It took me days to recover. Chatting so much made me very breathless.

Sorry i forgot that your scooter,unlike the beast of another species that you keep in the garage was no longer with us but i am sure that fidget will gladly partake of treats sufficient for two. x
Apart from my daughters and their offspring, I did not invite any of my family. Then my sister phoned me a couple of days beforehand and demanded to come down from Lincolnshire to see me. After a conversation I invited her but made her promise not to talk to my daughter about a particular subject. Some hope but it wasn't fisticuffs outside!!!

How lovely fidget and scooter. After my grandsons birthday yesterday I do understand the need to celebrate. I had tears yesterday but happy ones and thinking of you having a birthday celebration makes me really happy too. Take care Maz x
Great to hear from you again and by the sound of things,you are doing ok ,or as ok as ok can ever be .... I mean you couldn't have upset your daughters after all the trouble they'd gone to, to give you a wonderful birthday party! I will get my 007 specs out and try and spot you in the photograph. (Although you did say you only may be in it or maybe not ?) Not to worry,I have many other tricks up my sleeve. No I'm not a magician but have been known to solve the "who's who" in the photograph,so I shall be trying to solve the dilemma of Which one am I?
