Hi, sorry you’re feeling crappy.

Some days always seem worse than others.

Just wanted to show support & hope you feel brighter soon 🤗

I’m sorry to know you’re having a rubbishy day. Some days there’s just nothing can make you laugh. Did you see Tam’s (Aberdeenman) post the other day? Some funny jokes there that made me laugh, maybe they’ll brighten your evening a bit too. I hope so 😊

Live in the moment.....each single moment. No more, no less. Give up the stress!

Poor you though... it's a bugger....but you can choose to feel detached from it all and do something nice for you.

Probably not the best thing to do but I have been known to stand in the garden & just yell at the sky. Hate to admit it but not all the words used would be found on a dictionary. Afterwards I did laugh at myself when I calmed down & felt a bit sorry for my neighbours but some days it really is too much. Keep trying when you can, laugh when you can and cry when you need to xxx

It ‘s horrible having an infection and when I take ciprofloxacin it clears my infection but definitely makes me feel depressed. Just hang on in until the course is finished.

Well, I certainly sympathize with your discouragement, and with not wanting to take Cipro. I've taken it many times, and also its close cousin, Levofloxacin (Levaquin). The possible side effects are scary. But if you have certain bacteria, these two antibiotics are the ones to knock it back. To refrain from the antibiotic would likely be worse. I have been able to stay clear of Cipro/Levo the past couple of years by upping my lung hygiene. Twice a day I use an oscillating vest, and I use saline with a nebulizer. Lately, I've added nebulized Tobramycin every other month, which delivers the antibiotic directly to the infection site, bypassing the systemic problems of oral antibiotics. Sorry this doesn't make you laugh, but I hope it gives you some info of possible things to ask your doctor if you have chronic infection. If you have only occasional infection, you're luckier than me.

Hello, I live in the UK and suffer with bronchiectasis among other things. I was interested in the vest you have a and use. First of all does it work? Secondly are they expensive as I want to be sure it would be worth getting one. Thirdly, are they available in the UK?

Waiting in anticipation for your reply. Thanks, Roadrunner
