I'm actually thinking now well I'm not thinking it's pretty obvious really ,first talk of chemo then talk of another antibiotic 3 times a week (forgot the name ) I'm not allowed it because of my ECG wave ? So apparently all they can do ATM is give me antibiotics that IV had over and over different ones for different bugs that even if they do work in not clear of an infection for long I had IV at home around Oct/Nov time and I was infection free for 5week but back to usual ,the specialist in my home town had a meeting and decided it was down to Leeds to make a decision I'm not jue back for 3 week anyway I'm back on antibiotics for a week then another sputum test then results and see what specialist says at Leeds but in the meantime I'm back at rumathology next week I'm having a flare up and in pain and the immune suppressants I was taking for arthritis and infections I can't take while IV got an infection in a no win situation the drs have got to a stage I THINK they can't do nothing apparently I'm a rare case I can't go on like this I accept im always gonna get infections but the plan was not as bad and to be honest I'd rather be told we tried and nothing as worked, so no hope is better than false hope, enough is enough now and also with having bipolar my mental health is having a massive impact , there is 1 think I have decided thought if it's mentioned again and that would be chemo in my opinion it's 2 intense for a illness that's only gonna bide me time 🤔

Sorry you are having such a bad time and hope they find meds that help get rid of the bugs better that suit.

Kind of strange but seems to me when I was in the hospital they actually created a med for me they ended taking me off of it because it started causing kidney and heart failure. Then I had to go to a care facility where they were to give me right weeks of medication but made a mistake and only did it for two. I feel lucky to be alive.

Sorry you are going through this. Just ask docs to be straight with you because if they are not your imagination will run riot. Best of luck ..
