Has anyone heard of or taken diabetes medication meterformin for IPF? I read an article about it being used in trials

You mean metformin? I am taking 1500mg twice a day, plus gilzipide 1 whole tablet twice a day for type2 diabetes

I take Metformin for Type 2 diabetes and I am lead to believe that it is a very effective and safe drug to use. It works like (WD40) on your cells to allow them to open up to receive glucose for energy.
