Good evening everyone, I have taken my Ventolin Inhaler for many years of me having COPD and Bronchiectasis, I am now stage 4 COPD and awaiting a lung transplant. Although I have to regularly take lots of medication daily as well as nebulisers I have noticed that my Ventolin Inhaler doesn’t seem to work at all like it used to do. My question is, is there an alternative to Ventolin as a fast acting bronchial dilator? Does anyone else take anything else fast acting?
All answers will be greatly received.
Regards

Yes. Bricanyl (Terbutaline Sulfate) is the only alternative. I have been using it for 2 1/2 years. It is a powder inhaler (Turbohaler). Ventolin stopped working for me as well.
