Prednisilone

Morning all. I think the Prednisolone has not helped me at all. In fact, l apPear mor breathless than before. Only 45 tabs decreasing still in hospital. My oxygen levels are fluctuating also ranging from 54-99. Should be in region 88-92. Have to admit now fed up, as do not seem to be getting anywhere. Transferred from respiritory, to heart lot, not losing weight either. Drinking plenty fluids as dry mouth with oxygen although nasal and so tired. Now intend to have a nap. I never take it because when I did I felt more breathless

Have a nice rest. I hate prednisolone but have been assured by Dr that it is the best thing to keep you out of hospital. I told her they were ruining my life. She said give the antibiotics (emergency pack) a couple of days and see how it goes. I haven't taken the prednisolone. I am mid way through an exacerbation now and I feel better already on just the Amoxicillin. Please bear in mind that Drs prescribe medicine for a reason and they are not daft. I hope you feel better soon, have a chat with your GP
