I've never been told that. I'm currently in hospital, pneumonia, pseudomonas infection and bronchiectasis.

My drug regime includes both inhaled and oral steroids

Hi honey I do exactly the same thing I take my inhaled steroids inhaler with my steroids so don't understand who and why they have told you that maybe you should ask more questions best wishes x

I remember reading something like that, but I think it added "if you can avoid it" which in most cases we can't. Life is full of choosing the lesser of two evils, our's in particular. I hope you are soon feeling better. 🌹
