I used to be on 3 inhalers, including ventolin, but when I was in hospital they stopped the others and put me on Trimbow. I don't feel as though I get any relief at all with it. I am having an oxygen check today and I will mention yet again that I don't like Trimbow.

PS: At my assessment today I said that Trimbow had no effect on me. I was told that it is the best there is. She had no intention of letting me change. I will have to be firmer.

My consultant has stated that it’s not worth changing inhalers now since I have only 20% lung function. I have had COPD for over ten years and been on Seretide and Spiriva for all the time and I’ve been stable for the last two years and infection. Go back to your doctor and explain the situation as not all drugs suit everyone. Good luck

I am in trimbow and feel more breathless since taking it. The hospital stopped my ipratropium which I used in my nebululizer with salbutamol and an inhaler called relva ellipta. Will be asking my long term nurse about changing back. I am still taking my ventolin inhaler as well.

Hi, was put on Trimbow, replacing Seretide 250 (salmetoral/fluticasone) & Braltus, I lasted 3 weeks on it during which I had an exacerbation & could not do as much as before & become reliant on sulbutamol. I knew within days it was not working for me and within days of returning to my previous meds my condition began to improve. I know it has worked well for some but was not successful for me. This was sometime last year.

By the way I take trimbo 7 30 am then 7 30 pm because it's meant to be taken every 12 hours also it's best taking any inhaler same time every day as it keeps the airways open

Hi I have had COPD for 10 years and had plurisy and pneumonia last August and was on Fostair and Tiotropium. Respiratory Clinician told me a new combi Trimbow incorporated these two inhalers and I find it works really well. He said that was the best one. I'm in the UK. I'd persevere. Good luck

I have been on trelegy Ellipate for a week now and my breathing has definitely improved I know it doesn’t work for everyone but it has helped me, I can go upstairs and don’t get so breathless as I did. Try it yourself and I hope it helps you too. Pauline
