Well had my day in court!!

Skatergirl1 profile image
β€’35 Replies

The ex turned up with his new wife in tow for company, bless... Proceedings adjourned for two weeks to enable me to provide evidence etc to him in relation to questions he sent me Sat.. Ex sat unfront of judge and said three times, that he took out his pension when he was 18, but his paperwork states he was 22, and he stopped paying after a year, only to resume when we were married and continued until we seperated, silly man clutching a straws. Judge advised that we try and come to an agreement before next hearing....I am exhausted, time for a glass of 🍷 x

Good luck with your fight. At least you have two weeks to get the information you require. At least that was kind of the judge. By the way enjoy the wine

Hi camilla22, haha I wasn't impressed with the judge!! Spent whole weekend collating info for the ex and brought to court, judge said couldn't hand info to him personally as had to have proof that I gave it to him, the judge was sitting there!! (He needs to go to spec savers) if he couldn't act as witness....but had to post it???? So now await 2 weeks more xx

in reply to Skatergirl1

I mean it gives you more time if you need to get some more information that your ex might need. Think about it that way. I know what the legal system can be like. I had a family problem that took me 3 years give or take to get it sorted out. Also gives the judge time to read the paperwork and make thier mind up on how to rule on the case.

Ah...I know get what you are saying, thank you. Didn't know what to expect today, thought they were going to ask lots of questions and go through paperwork, but he didn't. I left feeling confused..

in reply to Skatergirl1

I felt the same after what i messaged you but trust me you will get there. Judge's need time to read the paperwork and work out sort of questions to ask if there is any to ask. Also check what doctors say as it can be in medical term's judge's don't understand

He shouldn’t have lied, but it won’t help one little bit, and can only help you. Good luck for the next hearing xx

It may also help your case to dig out your cancer diagnosis and any documentation from when he left you, to tie the two together.

Skatergirl1 in reply to 2greys

Hi Two greys, thank you for your comments. yes I took everything to court yesterday, but the judge dismissed that part and said to my ex that it was irrelevant to the case, meaning I shouldn't have to prove it to him!! My ex also lied in court yesterday regarding his pension, which I have great pleasure in documenting and sending in evidence to court today, ready for next hearing xx

Hope you enjoyed your wine S. Arrogance and purjury - not a great combination for his case! It’s a horrid experience, even when right is on your side. Shall we all get a botte of wine in to join in your celebrations in 2 weeks time?

Hi

I've just caught up with your posts and I'm appalled by your ex's behaviour ( and that of new model). It's always traumatic when a long relationship ends and more so if you're the one that had been 'Left' but judging by his present actions you are well rid and at least can enjoy the rest of your life without having to put up with living with a lying, snivelling, immoral cheater. His new wife deserves him! Hope you get everything and more of what you are entitled to. You deserve it. Enjoy your life without him and raise a glass to happiness and freedom. I'm just going to raise one to you.

Stay strong

Love

Corin
