Wow! You made me say it. I’ve thought of you several times lately. I moved to a place somewhat like where you live. It’s called Pauma Valley,CA. And I got really lucky and am renting what here is called a casita in the Pauma Valley Country Club. I’ll send a pic once I recall how. It’s 400 acres of green. The day we moved up here my 2 big dogs were thrilled. No more sounds of traffic just every different bird known to mankind, the evening frogs in our creek/stream or whatever it truly is. Until next morning I was making the bed, went out to check on them and my great big male had had a massive heart attack. He was only 8yrs and last check up perfectly healthy. My husband’s been having a really hard time trying to reason it out but like I told him some stuff has to just be classified under”shit happens”. I’ve had to classify quite a bit of stuff in this life under that category. All there is out here are Indian reservations, avocado and orange orchards for miles and miles. It’s much colder than the beach area we’re accustomed to but not unbearable. Neighbors 7miles down have cattle and horses. It’s pretty cool, nobody’s rude or nosey. Truly not city life. Hope you’re well love the pics they do a lot for the imagination

Wow now you made me say it the place you have moved to sounds wonderful and peaceful I did think about you also as the last time we spoke you were talking of moving and it sounds just awsone.

I am so so sorry to hear about your dog and understand you and your hubby grieving it's always very sad to lose a family pet but in a way he went quickly no suffering dosent always cut it .

I will Google your area and get a feel for the place sounds totally fantastic and so not city life wish you well my friend keep me posted on how things go with you
