Spitting up blood only in the Mornings

I am new here. I am not a smoker, never have been and every morning I clear my throat by spitting out my phlem and the horrible unusual taste in my mouth only in the mornings. It is red blood, red mucus, and two different mornings I spit up/out a blood clot. Been to the ER twice now, blood work says everything is normal and the ER doctors says it must be coming from my nose. No nosebleeds, and went to ENT and scoped me and said it is not from my nose or my mouth and said to proceed on to find out where this is coming from. I am also having Shortness of breath w/chest tightness when I move and I fainted once last week. EKG's are normal and so are all my vitals. Any ideas what this could be? I am morbidly obese, have lost 20 pounds due to loss of appetite and I need to lose weight anyway. Not sick, no cold, bronchitis or pneumonia. I have a fatty liver, and stomach hurts as it is hard to digest food due to I don't feel well and get stomach pain. No gallbladder. I do also have a rare blood clotting disorder so I can't get scoped till I get clearance from Cardio so that I can be put under. Tomorrow I am having a barium swallow test and will see if anything shows up. In 3 more weeks my PCP has schedule me for a nuclear stress test and a heart echo (ultra sound), I am afraid of the big "C" but have no idea what it could be. Any advise is appreciated.

Have you had a ct scan of your lungs?

Sounds like acid reflux. You're overweight & it happens when lying down. Gastroscopy should be near top of procedures?

If you're not in UK, (or are & private) they are milking the insurance IMO as it'd be first on my list to scope (except nose 'cos it's easier).

Thank you and would that be a endoscopy? Or is Gastroscopy something different?

An endoscopy is down below and shows your intestines so I I imagine it would be a gastroscopy which is a tube down your throat. x

An endoscopy is a procedure where the inside of your body is examined using an instrument called an endoscope.

An endoscope is a long, thin, flexible tube that has a light source and camera at one end.

A gastroscopy uses an endoscope slipped down your throat to look at your oesophagus and into your stomach.

A colonoscopy is also a procedure using an endoscope 'down below' to looking at the colon.

They are both endoscopy.
