I would hold off and call the doctor or pharmacist tomorrow and check. They usually say age 3 and over.

No not without checking with a medical professional. X

At two years old i would be checking with the dr first. Much to young to take any chances. What an adults body can deal with is much different from what a childs body can deal with.

Definitely, definitely you must consult your child's doctor.

I wouldn't. Without advice speak to pharmacists first wh may say go to doctors or walk in centre. Just best be safe it was prescribed for an adult so the combination of drugs for a a young child may not be suitable

Welcome to the British Lung Foundation.

Do speak to your pharmacist ASAP to check. If you're in the uk you could ring the help line 03000 030555 though I'm sure they'll say the same.

I get my kids to always double check the meds prescribed by gp.

Once, a gp prescribed an adult dose of Azithromycin to a 9 month old baby, the pharmacist dispensed it in syrup form, it wasn't until my daughter asked me if it was normal for the 1st dose to use half the bottle? Poor little baby, that Azithromycin wrecked her gets for a long time. I still can't get that the pharmacist didn't spot the mistake. It can be dangerous to overdose or mix drugs for little ones - I'm sure you know, hence your post. Good luck with your little one. x

No. Not unless it’s prescribed by a doctor.

Wish I could help but I don't know enough about which of these are treating what although I am aware that some loratadine medication already contains phenylalanine. As it is a 2 year old child involved I would definitely advocate consulting a doctor before giving any unprescribed medication.

Sorry I can't give a more definitive answer.
