That's shocking. Do you mind me asking what condition you have and stage now etc. I am newly diagnosed with mild copd and hope I won't have to pay sums like that to go on holiday. All the best.

Hi I’m clased as servere and use oxygen when walking about it’s once you put oxygen down the price jumps up you being mild should be ok depending on how many inhalers you are on thanks again look after your self.

Hi I have copd and tried to get insurance for a holiday and when I mentioned oxygen they wanted £890 so I think you’re getting it cheap but there again it’s what you’re prepared to pay. Good luck 😉

I'd have thought £60 per week each isn't bad if you have a chronic disease. If you consider how much it would cost for an air ambulance, repatriation etc. Medical assistance abroad can be very costly indeed.

You could try Free Spirit. Just got an annual travel insurance for £198 but not on oxygen. Have bronchiectasis , rheumatoid arthritis, and an arrhythmia. Have found that not much difference in cost for single trip and annual insurance. Your quote doesn’t sound too bad but worth a look at Free Spirit. Hope you find something more affordable.

Try one of the comparison sites. I have used Medical Travel Compared in the past. I have many medical problems and have found them very good. X

Blimey , that is cheap ! Some people are asked for thousand . Be careful that they are not offering to cover you not including your copd

I think your quote is very cheap (for someone needing oxygen). Which company quoted you that price? I'll definitely try them, as I too have been quoted over £800 due to oxygen being involved. Thank you
