Hi Mark.

This is an anomaly without doubt..

For years I was told COPD, Emphysema underlying Asthma , Ground glass opacity, Ventiliary defect. off and on...

It has changed several times from Asthma to bronciectasis and underlying Asthma and now it is Bronc again.

Ground glass opacity 2013 to present.. I was told recently..."Oh that`s an infection.. what!! after all the ABs and steroids you have made me shovel down my throat?????

I now take things with a pinch of salt..I would take a pinch of sugar to help the medicine go down.. but I`m terrified in case they say I have diabetes now as well..

BUT.....If all your Spiro is normal.. I would say your lungs are good......

Rejoice......

It would sound as if you have been given a reprieve. But i would be cautious as it would seem your first diagnosis was wrong (how was this diagnosis reached) they could be wrong again but i do hope not. Do you have symptoms i would be asking what is wrong if you do. Fingers crossed no COPD present .
