hello i dont know who to turn to, i have mD also copd and i am getting in a bit of a state as i have been told that a scar has formed in my eye i can not see very much out of my right eye who do i go to for practical help can any body help me please as things are getting quite difficult for me can any boy tellme please

Hi kapre, sorry to hear of your difficulties. I'm not quite sure what 'practical help' you mean?

If you are looking for care in your home, search just that "NHS Care in the home" followed by the area you live in UK. I can't really advise if you live overseas.

Also make an appointment with your doctor and explain difficulties, was the scar in your eye found by the diabetic eye screening? If not maybe ask your doctor for blood glucose check, if its that you will be referred to diabetic clinic for the eye care or ask for a referral to the hospital eye specialist to see if your sight in that eye can be saved.

You could ask your doctor as well about accessing the OT services.

Just to be clear do you mean Macular Degeneration or Muscular Distrophy? Otherwise you might get the wrong advice.
