Just wanted to share this with you all my lovely boy Buster who is waiting for me at home lying on my clothes.
I was admitted to Treliske hospital yesterday 4am after an exacerbation 3lots of antibiotics and 2of steroids have got pnemonia in my right lung am seeing consultant today and have lots of questions regarding antibiotics .
I have also been following the phage therapy and am going to bring this up also.

Good luck to you Joan, I do hope they get you onto a good treatment plan and you start to feel better soon. Your lovely boy Buster will be over the moon to have you back home which I hope will be soon. Keep us updated on the phage therapy alot of very interested people on here. Hugs x
Do let usknow what the con says about the phage therapy. I had a letter from my con yesterday( copied to my GP) to say that following a conversation with me she is discussing this with her colleagues as of course, it is not licensed in this country.

Dear me Joan, I forgot to say that I hope that you will soon be better and what a sweetie your dog is. My little dog has been glued to my side since I had a tooth out 2 days ago. Aren’t they just the best.

Hi Joan, Your lovely Little Dog will always know how poorly you are, mine does also. When we leave her with Family I leave the last garment I wore so she has the Scent the longest time. I do hope you recover well, I also have been there with Pneumonia Bug riding on another Bug,(picked up in Hospital) a few years ago now, I am up Fit and staying strong as I can. Hello Joan, buster will so excited to see you when you get home. My little dog is the same and I hate to leave him when I go into hospital. Hope you feel better soon. I am also interested about this phage therapy I will also ask about it. Majt🐕

Update on Pnemonia and consultant
I have seen consultant and they have found a bug in my blood culture keeping me in to continue intravenous antibiotics.
I have had a conversation with consultant about phage therapy he had not heard of it.
I asked to email him information about lhage and he has agreed. RESULT !
I asked if I could trial it in uk .fingers crossed x
I hope the IV antibiotics work quickly and you can get home to Buster soon. Good luck xxx
