Now that comment made me laugh a lot whitechinchilla she's a cheeky sheltie see her often in one of areas I walk in I think she thinks she's a large dog .....probably after a bonio biscuit mire like 😂😊😊

Yes all the ponies cattle donkeys sheep in the forest roam free a lot of them used to contact due to people feeding them which isn't allowed but tourists are tourists x

They can be touched Meg yes but obviuosly they are wild and can have a tendency to kick out or run off if spooked . A lot of the ponies will follow looking mainly for food and leave you alone if they see you have nothing to give. Lots of people feed them but really it's not allowed as they have plenty to forage for and the verderers keep them topped up in winter if things get harsh or the owners can pull them in to paddock for a few weeks .
