Did you have to walk that guy? He doesn’t look like the cooperative type but cute as heck. Looks very cold and nothing else in sight? I’d have to drive quite a long way to see something like that so thanks for being it to me

Sandyeggo no where I live cattle ponies donkeys horses sheep deer run free I can find them in my garden and on the forest where they live all year round . They are wild and are looked after by the forest verderers who bring food at certain times of the year when the forest isn't so fruitful for them . But a lot of tourists feed them which is not allowed πŸ€”πŸ€” this was 7.45 ish this morning x

So if there’s those wild creatures I imagine there is some sort of wolf population? I was just watching a YouTube video on wolves in UK the other day but since Ive never been there I have no idea about the areas they were referencing to. I’ll post a pic of the wolf population in my house, they’re wolfdogs: timber sheps they look like Inuits if you know what those are. Have a good puppy walk today-stay warm and dry if possible- today were supposed to have rain but it’s only because I’m going to the hair dresser and since I only go once or twice a year it’s a mandatory rain day and the umberella is broken- sounds like the making of a poem for the rhyme guy

Ah sorry I forget your in USA if you Google new forest Hampshire that will give you a fair bit of information on the area I live . No wolves....

foxes badgers rabbits cows donkeys ponies deer sheep and in the autumn they let the pigs out to roam and eat all the dropped acorns as they can be toxic to the ponies if they eat to many...enjoy the treat at the hairdressers and your day xx

Oh I did look it up it’s even better than The Blackbirds singin in the dead of night🎡 it’s a National Park so over there is that also considered a wildlife refuge or preserve? We have quite a lot here in USA. About 45 mins drive from me is a wolf preserve. It looks like a fabulous, awesome, very beautiful special place to be close to and live your life. In my eyes that is truly living being in that aptmosphere. The buildings aren’t really my thing but the wildlife and open space can trigger one’s imagination to nurture a sense of peace and well being that is unmatchable anywhere else other than the beaches here where I am so fortunate to live. Thanks, I really love those pics but do stay warm! But alas Spring is coming soon( here where I am) does it come soon for you there too? And all the new baby animals are being born, the nests w/baby birds trying to scream for food an all of those wonderful things!

Hi Sandyeggo

Yes spring is just around the corner hopefully and I'm very much looking forward to it as I'm sure you are also.

The weather has been fairly mild up till now and we have had some snow but not harsh enough to settle .... my daffodils and winter pansies are in full flower and that's way too early I hope they survive . I fully understand the need for space and not a lover of buildings that overcrowd things I'm 2 mins from the forest and 5 mins to the beach so very lucky to have them so close to hand.

Would love to see the wolves reservation sounds amazing

😊😊

Wow lucky you living among all those lovely creatures. All I have is a possum family living in a hollow mango tree I do feed them though when there are no blossoms on the trees but only fruit and ofcourse the bandicoots digging holes in the yard. Such wonderful photos you take.
