Chest infection out, PARI t-shirt challenge IN

After saying how fortunate I'd been not to pick up a full blown chest infection in my last post I finally succumbed a couple of weeks ago, wiping myself out completely for a few days. On the mend now though thanks to the antibiotics and yesterday was able to play a bit of lunch time badminton.

It was great to be able to get the blood pumping again and put my puffers through their paces. I always feel so much better when I do get out and do something and forget just how much of an effect not exercising has on my mental health. Yes, I can't do what I used to when it comes to sport which is a source of disappointment in its own right. However, it's better than not being able to do anything at all and I have to seize every opportunity I get to enjoy the lung capacity I have while I still have it.

The best part of yesterday's badminton session is that I was also able to don my PARI Medical top again and submit a quick photo to their Facebook page to earn another 10 Euro donation for the BLF.

There's a couple of months left yet of the partnership and I'm determined to submit as many photos as I can before the end of January. If any of you have got a PARI t-shirt and are feeling active don't forget to submit your photos to the PARI team by emailing them at joinus@pari.com

PARI are donating double for any submissions over the Christmas period which gives us all a further incentive to get out for a walk to burn off some of the calories from all the food and drink we're going to consume next week!

Happy Christmas everyone and thank you for all your support over the past few months!
