Finally, some gunk!

Shancock

At last today I have been able to blow some horrid gunk out of my nose which is really helping. Had a good blow a while ago and a load of stuff flew out, just what I need to get that rubbish out rather than it just staying there congesting me.

I will do a sinus rinse again soon and hopefully that will flush some stuff out too.

Went to Tesco today and felt a bit woozy when in there, that's the tiredness and pressure. I've get up at 6am in the week for work.

Hoping this gunk will keep on coming out to unblock me and stop the pressure.

I hope so too, there's nothing worse than feeling stuffed up with stuff on the chest. Have a good night.😊 Bernadette xx

Use saline or purified water. A woman who rinsed her sinus with tap water acquired an amoeba. Went to her brain and she died in Seattle.

Swears by Neilmed sinus rinses; every day. Helps keeping the level of gunk ftom chronic sinus infection & bronchiectasis under some level of control!

Hi Shancock

Good to get it out, i know it sounds stupid but a sometimes try and make myself sneeze so then i can get a good blow from my nose.

Since end of August I feel I have kept Kimberly Clark in business with the number of Kleenex boxes I have used!

I rinse my sinuses out with a Neti pot which you can buy online or health shops. Always use warm water with 1/2 tsp of sea salt. My nose has never been as blocked since I first used it.

Yes i do already i use neilmed rinse with the sachets and bottle always with cooled boiled water, i rinse twice daily it the best thing for a good clear out

This makes me laugh -- not at you but myself. I'm going through my first cold since my COPD diagnosis, and never in my life have I blown my nose so often. I told my partner what has been going on, and she said thanks for the gross information. But she has it too. So there. I don't even use tissues; I've resorted to large rolls of paper towels.
