Goodbye to my dear friend

Feeling lost this morning. On top of struggling with Bronchiectasis flare up due to on going Haemophilis I lost my very dear friend yesterday. She had COPD and was so courageous & always helped me through tough times. She was ready to go & had been for months but the pain of her passing is so acute.

So so sorry to hear the loss of your friend Shouty I’ve also lost a very dear friend and know it’s a very hard time especially as you are coping with your own illness as well. I tried to concentrate on all the wonderful memories we had together but I know it’s very raw at the moment. Do take care, sending lots of hugs to you.

So sorry shouty , it's so painful to lose a friend and it happens more frequently as you get older. I try to concentrate on feeling grateful that I had them as a friend and knowing that they would hate to think that they are causing me pain.

So Sorry Shouty for your Loss. I too lost a Dear Friend to This Horrible Disease, she was only 55 and didn't get to see her last Grandchild. I do keep in touch with her family. I have Robins come to Visit, I named one after her, it makes me feel better when I say "Good Morning My Dear Friend" Love n Hugs to You. Hope your feeling better soon. xxxxx

I am sorry to hear. My good friend's father just passed 2 weeks ago. He had been sick but did not make it past a year after COPD diagnosis. He was 60. I will miss Ed

Hello Shouty, sorry to hear of the loss of your freind. It will remain sad for you for some time and it is normal to feel really down,maybe shed many tears. You will have to take extra care of yourself if you are going through a flare up and close loss as your resistance will be low, chat or share your feelings here if it helps as we have all been through similar experiences at one time and another. Take care, keep warm and try to keep well . My deepest sympathy to you at this difficult time.
