Hi Don & Friends, after your recent poem, I received this one Yesterday, I thought it so Good, Sent it to my Son, I'm sure he will see the Humour. We Have to remember that all Police People are understaffed and there are Too many Thugs and Evil People out there in this World. We have to see the Good and Nice people, Like us lot on this Forum. Hi Carole, That's why I said "My Son" he too is in the Met, Sargent, Security Special Arms. Have a lovely Weekend, We now have The sun shine, Just Washed and Pegged out washing, Love seeing a 4 year old 's Little socks & clothing Blowing on the washing Line. I have a recently retired ex-Police Sgt. living next door to me who was glad to be out of it. The reduction in police presence is making this country a haven for criminals. Fortunately the police are used to having their leg pulled, as I was in my job.

Yes, My Son is eagerly awaiting his retirement in 18 months. He has given 200% and more , as you Did my Friend. Those Good Policing days have gone,,, Which is such a Big Shame. Joe Public don't See it, which is even more of a Shame. xxx

I was never in the police force, but I did used to give lectures to their Special Investigation Officers around the country regarding tax fraud. That was over 30 years ago, I've been retired since 1989.

That is so funny! But sadly true that the police are badly underfunded like the NHS, overworked and bogged down in paperwork.
