[Clamdigger]

When I drove out west I stopped on a back road to get a shot of the sunflowers.. I forgot to tie my dog to the wheel.. When I go out my jack russel got lose... I was walking through a thousand acre farm yelling come for a cookie.... I did this painting and the frame is hand carved.of the event ...... Jacks are fast moving dogs ...... I thought I was going to be there all day.. I got tired of yelling and went back to get my car I was so glad to see him he was gone for about a hour.....

It was a awful but he was a smart dog he would of came back to the car.. As long as he didn't come across a rabbit...

I was intrigued by your name so read a couple of your posts to see where you're from. Nova Scotia?

Laughed at the paleo diet. Are you still doing it? I had some friends who went on it to lose weight and did but they gave it up eventually as they found it too restrictive.

Yes still on the diet you know you can make cookies on this diet by using almond flour.. Its rough but when your sick you do what you need to do..... After owning Micky got another one Max there hyper ....

Dogs are like children and once free they love to run, so glad he came to no harm and enjoyed his hour of freedom, bet it didnt do much for your stress level though. The pretty painting will be something to laugh about in years to come, did you do the hand carved frame as well, its lovely. Irene x

Found the frame at a second hand shop the owner told me a man carved it from the area were I live....That summer I drove across Canada it was just the dog and I .... It was great we swam we hiked and camped... Love the bread but they have a mind of there own.... I put Micky in a lot of my paintings .... But that day didn't think I was going to get him back...

Oh how fab to travel like that , bet you had a wonderful time. Think I have lost my confidence now that I have grown older and developed complaints. I spent 10 years out of the UK when I was younger, lived in Hong Kong for a couple of years and 7 years in Germany and managed 9 moves in 10 years, so developed a love of travel.

A former neighbour's jack Russell played for more than an hour, running from one end of a drainage pipe under a bridge to the other end, while his owners (one at each end) tried unsuccessfully to coax him out!

There a smart dog and its hard to catch them.... Love the breed but there a handful ... Just got another one he is a year old.... We take him sailing he just loves it ....
