Secondhand smoke seepage from neighboring flats in apartment bldg

I have recently moved into an independent living apartment building. I have Cpfe and am a non smoker. Second hand cigarette smoke is coming into my apartment I think through the bathroom vent and kitchen pipework cavities. Does anyone have any advice on this situation? It's obviously not good news for my lungs. Thank you.

Hi

Speak to you landlord or apartment manager. There should be no ingress of smoke or fumes between apartments.

In the event of fire, smoke will be followed by fire. So somewhere there is a failure in the system. Which can be life threatening for the entire complex.

Take it further if you have to.

This is a common thing unfortunately. Talking to the other owners of the complex or inviting them to a meeting to discuss this . Or see the manager and ask him for his help.
