I haven't tried it. But others have. Search in the posts. On this site. You might get some answers. Good luck

i use it but unfortunately it doesn't appear to make any more difference to either the Braltus or Spiriva that i used to use,in fact none of them appear to do anything for my very severe emphysema, probably because my condition has no inflammatory aspect to it and i produce very little mucus and have virtually no cough.

regards Ski's hope it helps with your symptoms.

I found your reply to Tom41 interesting because you described so succinctly my own condition .I have Fostair as well as Bricanyl and Braltus and can’t honestly say they do any good but I might be worse if I didn’t take them .

Lizzy,What condition do you have?my consultant never said so but intimated that with very severe Emphysema without an inflammatory aspect no amount of opening of the airways is going to make much impression on dead alveoli and that it would only really be of use should i develop an infection, but hey ho the inhaler doesn't do any harm and being without steroids no long term side effects to worry about.obviously it is an individual thing and i would never question their value for others with lung conditions.

I was on Spiolto Respimat until 2 weeks ago. I found it worked fine but have moved on now to the newer Trimbow and find that much better. Hope you get on ok with yours and it helps your condition.

Did you get trombone through gp or your consultant. I never know who to ask.

HI, I got mine from my GP. I just asked if I could try it as thought it would be easier than messing around with separate steroid and maintenance inhalers and so far Ive found it to be ok, no side effects and very effective. Good luck. Rose x

I tried it last summer. It was absorbed incredibly quickly and unfortunately for me, I was allergic to it so it made me pretty unwell for a few days. Now back on Anoro which isn't anything like so effective but is tolerated by my protesting body.

I have used it for well over a year and the only problem I am aware of is GERD/heartburn. I think it is reasonably effective.

Been on your inhaler for some time but developed awful croaky voice. GP referred me for quick ENT examination. Nothing nasty found but consultant blamed the inhaler. Said not to stop using but to inhale through aero chamber. I have moderate COPD and emphysema and the SR doesn't really seem to make any difference to my symptoms but I suppose it may stop things getting worse.
