As promised I am letting you know what happened at the hospital. It turns out that all the test he needed to do at this end were about six month ago and were fine. The reason I haven't heard from Newcastle is he had forgotten to refer me. The good thing is I should hear soon as he was sending the referral o. The computer today. So fingers croßsed it won't be long before I can have the tests done now. Thank you all for being very supportive and the good luck and wishes you sent me, they certainly worked. Hope you are all doing well and once again thank you all I'm so greatful. 😊 Love Bernadette xx

Did you get an apology ? Was it the local hospital? Let's hope the referral comes quickly, sending you best wishes .

It was the kilton Hilton, but at least now I know why I didn't hear from Newcastle.😊 Bernadette xx

Hope you get an appointment very soon now. At least he was honest and told you that he forgot.

Good news Bernadette, I hope that it all goes along smoothly now

Glad it’s sorted out for you. The hospitals are so busy it’s hard to get in now unless it’s really life threatening. My appointment for a heart scan was made in June and I’m going September. I had an appointment given me for the lung clinic July and it was for November. They did send for me within a month though and I cancelled the November one. I went to the lung clinic on Tuesday and they have now sent me an appointment for December. I wonder if I will have to cancel that one. It’s not good to be overlooked altogether though. That’s a bit worrying.

Hope all goes well when you go. XX Mavis.

Thank you all for the kindness and support you all have me I really appreciate it.😊 Bernadette xx

I am glad your tests were good, a bit irritated that the doctor forgot to send the referral. If possible, maybe call Newcastle in a few days to make sure they got the referral?

I hope you get in there soon, you have already waited long enough.

Glad to hear things are coming together for you Bernadette, it is so frustrating sometimes . Best Wishes for a quick reply on test date, so easy for things to be overlooked and we as patients often don't think to ask again if we have heard nothing .
