Feeling a bit isolated so I'm very glad to find this community. I'm new here. From what I've already read it looks like I will be here often

Feeling guilty about smoking! Looks like I may have a triple crown of asthma, emphysema, and possibly lung cancer. So here I am..working on the guilt (ACIM) and most willing and able to get started here in a new community. I'll be age 70 next year. Yikes! Like they say, if I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of me. Sorry, don't have a photo.

Welcome Usern and stop feeling guilty and try to feel positive and determind about giving up smoking. Many of us have been there and at first are angry at what we've done to ourselves. It's never too late to make a difference though so start today. Glad you've joined us, lots of good, friendly and supportive people here. Sheila x

Hi, Christina! What? No meds?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I was born with asthma..had it chronically thru childhood then it revisited me in my 40's. Emphysema not officially diagnosed but was informed it's stage 2 or 'moderate'. The lung nodules are being monitored. Two low dose CAT scans and one PET scan already in six months. One nodule grew 50% during that time. Have appt with oncologist today. Thank you for your interest. You take care, too.
