Are others sick & tired of these GPs, seeing different ones with conflicting answers.. as for the Triage team, what a waste of time & nhs resources..no wonder the nhs is going down the drain

No i am lucky to have a exalent gp practice and hospital respatry team that listen to me and react acordingly. I realise how fortunate i am but they realy have been on the ball with diagnosis and treatment and my well being

Totally agree and the worst seem to be the locums because theyou don't want to do anything different without senior Dr's say so..so frustrating at times

Our GP surgery is reluctant to do much for Pete as he is too complicated. The doctor he saw just wanted to prescribe amitryptalene and morphine for his back problems and when he refused those he’s been referred back to Southampton.

Generally though all good as is the nhs generally. Xxx

I feel really lucky. My gp practice is excellent and I usually see the same gp, and because I’ve seen him since my RA was diagnosed, he knows my body well. (That sounds bad!) I have also seen the same consultant twice a year since diagnosis so that’s good. When I developed breathing issues in 2012 I was moved from one consultant to another in different parts of the lung department, and after four different ones and a diagnosis of bronchiecstasis and difficult asthma, I now see the same one every six months. Now the hospital that deals with my ankle issues (Orthopaedic hospital) is a totally different kettle of fish. I never see the same dr twice and I often have to chase up follow up appointments!

Hi, we are having problems with our GP surgery. Hubby has many problems with his health. Following HA in 2016 he has had upset stomach and has been losing weight. Our surgery just prescribed Imodium up to 8 times a day. It turns out he has severe duodinitus and possibly H Pyroli, awaiting results, it appears it is up to us to ask to have PPIs increased and to monitor when test results are available. This is anew NHS DIY service!!
