Hi if it came to an emergency I’d sooner travel in this type of ambulance with an army medic than be left without help. We are very lucky in this country with our NHS and even the military when we have problems. I am very grateful for the services we have available. Barbs x

I would prefer the drive proper ambulances

Military personnel are just as highly trained as paramedics if not more so having to work in the war zones and dealing with emergencies regardless of conditions. Paramedics do a fantastic job daily . Some of them even refusing to go into people's houses that smoke from a post that was your own topic some months back correct me if I'm wrong just my memory sometimes isn't great

No reports of a strike in the media at all, fake news.

Wish it was but was on bbc news in papers

Only the on your Local News and in a Provincial paper, a local dispute. Yes a local strike not a National strike. No need to cause to panic and alarm to other members on here, especially when a health warning has been issued.

You are supposed to give verifying links on your original post as per forum rules, which you have failed to do once more.

Even if there was to be a strike measures would be put in place to control emergencies of any sort

Haven't heard anything about a strike, but if that is ever the case, I would be more than happy to be treated by an armed forces medic, wouldn't be the first time...they are great. Would probably have to arrange for lots of lunatics shooting at them at the time, wouldn't want them to have it a bit easy for a change, would we?
