The days, they past so quickly now,
And the things I meant to do.
Remain undone and worse than that,
More have been added too.
Of course, the days are just the same,
It's me that's getting slow.
Gone are those days of yore
When I had 'get up and go'.
But there you go, I battle on,
Like all the others here.
Perhaps when this hot weather goes,
We'll all move up a gear.
I've got things to do that I've been putting off since the winter. So I can't blame the weather. it's just me. Good rhyming again Don xx
Don, i always look forward to your rhymes. I think you should do a blog with a bit of background info. It might, as they say, raise awareness. Not a phrase I'm fond of but for lung disorders perfectly valid. People assume i have cancer and look sympathetic, when i say i haven't they look slightly disappointed

Brilliant. So true. I hope you continue thinking up the rhymes (not sure I spelt that right) for many years to come. I have jobs going back too far to mention. If only I didn't have so so much clutter..
