Time to heal..

Dear BLF friends💕

It’s been a while since I didn’t bore you with positive affirmations 😉

Well I’m into this as you know and apart from helpful respiratory physio, I feel I need something else than the 🌍 cup ⚽️ to support that « Healthy, strong and vital body » of mine!!🍀

Haha.. as would say my Bea.👌

Well I chose some specific respiratory ones today, not too many mind🤓

If you feel you need more details you can pm me.

Please see below ( so I don’t lose what I have written so far!!!)

Fran xx

Good morning, Fran 💞

I’ll pm you soon, but just hoping you’re not suffering more, rather than less, with your exacerbation.

It’s very true that we haven’t had positive affirmations from you for quite a while, nor meditation links. I used to track down your past posts through all the stresses I had moving house, but haven’t done it lately.

Maybe find some more, so that we can all get calm and happy again??

Wishing you well. 🌸 lots of love 🍓❤️ 🍇 🌈 🌟🌹 P xx

Good morning Penny🌼☀️

I am so pleased they can be useful 🤞

5th day antibiotics and 30mg of pred today, so one day at a time towards regaining my strength back 😉 and getting a chance to go to the seaside 🏖??

Thank you my dear friend.

Have a good day 💕

Seaside??! That sounds good, but go early before the heat of the new day builds up.....I know you’re good at early! 🏖⛱🏖

Relax and let the meds do their job, Fran. I’m thinking of you 🌹🌻🌸🦋 Penny xx

Morning Fran, thank you for the positive healing post. I am also into that and think it’s wonderful.

I hope that it’s all working well for you and thank you to Bea for the beautiful sunset.

Have a great day and feel better.

Love and hugs Carole xxxx 😎🌻💖😘

in reply to sassy59

Thank you Carole, it works I think, 😊I like the sunlight warming your chest and lungs one, then we forget about the heat and it’s disadvantages!! We are plagued by negative media and scaremongers ☀️🌼

Mid-morning or late afternoon is good, sitting in the garden or at a terrace with a cuppa xx or even an 🍦

Love Fran 💓🌷🌸

Wonderful affirmations Fran. I really believe in the power of this but seldom use them but these ones are so relevant to me especially at the moment. Your attitude has lifted me, thank you. I hope they are working for you and that you are improving. I did a spiritual healing course some years ago and I remember being told not to say "my asthma" I think because it somehow fixes it precisely as mine. Your affirmation just reminded me of that.

See you're on 5th AB day Fran - how long do you take them? Are they helping? (Im on 5th too and I have no idea for myself!) Sending love and wishing you strength, jean xx

in reply to O2Trees

Thank you Jean 🦋

Yes it works for me too in times of need.

Very interesting idea not to say my asthma. Definitely not ours 😃!!

Well, I have no idea either if it is working or not, I am out and about doing my usual chores but huffing and puffing..Doctor told me to note down my peakflow again, around 320 after 3 inhalers I would say 😉so I need to take my 7 days worth, wait a couple of days and see 😊

Love x

Fran

What a coincidence- I’m on fifth day of abs and steroids too - we could all be members of the same club!

Very, but I’m not sure it’s really one I would choose to be in!

Well it is the 6th day today and there may be a light at the end of that tunnel 😃🤞🍀

Hope so Fran. I woke to a scary water boarding moment - well about an hour - at 5.30 but now feeling dreamy and sleepy due to the oromorph and oxazepam.

in reply to O2Trees

Oh dear Jean..I woke up short of breath at 4.30, after 4 Ventolin puffs and health imagery serenading my ears I woke up at 6..

I had been embroidering till 11.30pm watching 4 episodes of Hidden, a horrible scary BBC series, which I should have avoided but once it started I wanted to know the end..the end never came so I slept my usual first 4 hours with short-acting bromazepam but it was better than nothing.

Jeez, what we have to put up with Fran. Folk would never believe it unless they got to see it all in action. We are watching Hidden - yet another Tec-Noir. Saw the final final Bridge episode last night. I love Saga the heroine. Wont make a spoiler in case you've been watching and you haven't seen it yet.

in reply to O2Trees

I saw The Bridge, I love Saga too. The end leaves it open for another season don’t you think?

in reply to O2Trees

Definitely 😃membership only!!!

But wasn't it Groucho Marx (nearly said Karl!) who said he wouldn't want to be in a club that would have him as a member?!

in reply to O2Trees

Haha...a pity! We would have had a laugh in his club! Comedians are born depressed I think. Karl was probably depressed too 😃

Well look at us laughing in our survival club!!! 🌞

I have had three courses of pred and doxy in quick succession.....hopefully they are working now....no more coughing yucky stuff.

But today I meet a friend, who has the same lung problems as me....I often wonder if we reinfect each other.

I find meditation most helpful, but then I go and read about politics etc and get stressed again. Andrew Weil suggests having a news free day in one of his books....I shall try.

I like the idea of not saying ' my asthma' , thank you O2 trees...it's become part of who I am, and that's not good. Someone once asked me to describe myself, and top of the list I put asthmatic, then a mother!

Best wishes and thank you

in reply to knitter

Hello dear Knitter 😊

Time to change antibiotics, that’s where they go wrong, repeating the same prescription instead of doing a sputum test, checking what is the relevant antibiotic..more to do with laziness, overwork and/or medical incompetence than with your dear friend..maybe you need one of those vitamin and mineral check up to see if your immune system is lacking anything. Socialising is the best immune defence I find 🌸

Yes they say football, religion and politics to avoid from breakfast onwards 😃 however I’d rather be in the midst of it all, so I know I am happy, sad or angry but alive presently!

Take care my dear, hope you get over that bad spell soon enough so you can enjoy mellow summer days.

Yes my dear Skis and Scruffynounette a day without football means a day shopping!!!

😃

Well actually I went to town to print some of Dad and Bea’s photos from my iPhone for Mum who is rightfully so of the shiny paper generation 😉

It took me ages, so I stopped for a mezze at my favourite Greek restaurant. Now I need to double swimming pool time 😂

Have a nice day xx
