Update from fed up post
Hope the medics soon find out what's happening in your body so that they can prescribe treatments that will resolve it quickly. All the best.
Thinking of you Tidge and glad you’re having the ultrasound this weekend.
Let us know how you get on. Xxxx 😘
Sounds like things are going in the right direction! Good luck.
Hi Tidge,
What medication are you on? My stomach has been very bad and swollen on a lot of the maintenance inhalers. I've had to stop taking them. I'm very slim, but after a few months of medication look at though I'm 5 months pregnant. It goes down when I stop. They've also affected my kidneys/bladder - to what extent I'm not sure.
Look luck with the scan and I hope they resolve your problems.
Take care
It's not my meds the cause of this there is something going on....I'm on all sorts of medication from inhalers acid reflux meds ferrous furmurate which is new ibs medication...
Thanks
I hope they get you sorted out and find out what the underlying problem(s) is. It's a horrible pain and makes it so difficult to do anything.
Do take care.
🤞hope it gets sorted soon
Hope it doesn't take long to get the correct diagnosis for you x
Thanks everyone will update once I know more x
Hello Tidge
You’ll soon know with the ultrasound. Unfortunately with all the meds we take our digestive system is the first to suffer. I am full of digestive pills as well and have to do an endoscopy, to check the stomach.
In the meantime I discovered last year I was intolerant to lactose. And if it continues I may be given up gluten as well. I eat buckwheat crispbread and lactosefree cheese! 😃 but it has alleviated inflammation I must say.
I follow a more alcaline diet.
Hope it helps xx
Good luck Tidge Fran 🍀💕
Ahh i never thought of that yes hopefully have answer after the weekend fingers crossed, yes doc is also booking me in for cameras to be done I found out I'm very anemic as well which is a mystery
She's just tested for coliaec disease as well yesterday morning will rule something else out..
Thanks hun you take care xx💕
Yes, Fran. My late husband Bob who had severe COPD, ended up with food intolerances to cows milk and bleached flour. Milk made him swell up like a football (16" on the waist in 2 hours) and flour made him very breathless. He was OK on unbleached flour and goat and sheep milk - as we found out on a holiday in Rhodes in the 80s when cows milk was a rarity there and all the flour a lovely golden colour.
Update had ultrasound today, never felt pain like it when it was being done, feeling pretty sick too at the moment which was expected after all the prodding with the scan I thought scans were painless geezz I have a high pain threshold but not today x
