Asthma Attack

I woke up yesterday morning and felt a bit out of puff. Got ready for work and by the time I drove my 20 minute journey to work was having a full on asthma attack. So off I went to a&e and straight into resus. They hooked me up to nebulizer and gave me steroids and I was later allowed home.

What is strange is I have a sinus infection at the mo and last time I had one,I also had a really severe asthma attack...being in hospital for 9 days on back to back nebulizers&oxygen. I also had pneumonia. I'm just if the sinus infection and asthma attack seem to go together?

Yes, I find the two often go together, in my case anyway.

I wonder if bacteria from my sinus creeps down into my lungs and sets them off.

Hope you are ok now after your emergency treatment.

Thanks knitter! Yes I guess that could happen...I have had a post nasal drip! I'll be aware next time I get a sinus infection! I am feeling much better now thank you. I woke up quite wheeze but made it to work!
