This darn chest infection

Went for the 2nd part of my stress test yesterday, had the injection, waited an hour, went back in to go on the whirly x-ray machine and just couldn't lay down as I am unable to catch a breath when laying down due to this chest infection.

The past week has been spent sleeping sitting up on and off and the infection doesn't seem to be shifting.

Thought it was after my first day on AB's but that was probably in my mind.

I've 3 days left of my course but I'm not holding out much hope for it to be gone.

Going to ring on Friday for an app at the drs and ask for some stronger AB's, hopefully that will clear it as I have until next Friday to have my tests completed or they will have to start again and there's no way I'm going through the stress injection again.

Can't believe I've been shivering in this mini heatwave we've had, feel almost as bad as when I got hospitalised before Christmas.

If it's not one thing it's another, suppose it's all sent to test us.

Thanks for reading, have a lovely day and take care πŸ€’πŸ€•πŸ˜ΉπŸ˜Ή

I understand completely about not wanting to undergo the stress test again. I woke up in the Resusitation Unit after suffering respiratory failure from that test, not funny at all.

Blimey, that must of been awful, I was having one of my better days when I had mine and being prone to the odd panic attack I was a little worried after the nurse explained things to me.

The machine was a doddle that day as my breathing was fantastic, but yesterday was complete opposite.

Hi, I am of the same name. I've just come out of hospital after a 4 week stay and, like you have to sleep sitting up or I can't breath even after the various treatments and Antibiotics they gave me. it's an uncomfortable position initially but you do get used to it. I didn't have a stress test so am not familiar with the procedure, the xray and/or CT scan should tell whats happening inside, they had to do my CT scan sideways on and in very short time before I panicked. The shivering could be down to the infection or a circulation problem, you need to bring to the GP's attention. My infection turned out to be Pseudomonas Bacteria which needs a strong antibiotic to flatten it. Keep smiling thro' hopefully it will pass.

It's a bloomin nightmare when they do these tests and can't come to a conclusion, I know it's not their fault but it's frustrating.

I'm off to the doctors in the morning and asking for something a little stronger, hopefully that will clear it up.

Just itching to get back to a little normality 😁😁
