Shopping.

I need to do some shopping

Some things are getting low.

I thought I'd make this little list

To take with me when I go.

Motivation's one thing I need,

I really must get more.

I'll have to use the last of that

To get me through the door.

Some determination,

To keep me on the go.

A sudden lack of that could cause

A barrel full of woe.

I think I'll get some attitude,

That always serves me well.

If things don't go just how I want,

It helps me to raise hell.

Last of all is humour.

How expensive will that be?

I know from past experience,

At the checkout that comes free.

Very funny Don 😂. Also do they sell patience? I'm afraid I'm THAT mother in the shops...you know, the one who looks exhausted and stressed with all the ferral screaming children? 😂. I tend to 'click and collect' these days 😉. Have a good day xx

Children these days seem unable to communicate except through high pitched screams. Whatever happened to “the sound of little children playing happily with their friends”? Strewth!!

I hate going off to Sho Ping

on such a slow boat to china,

for all those things I'm needing,

the cost! need a wallet minder.

I really want to lean on the trolley

squeaking up and down the aisles,

but that is such a really bad folly,

the trolley quickly crabs and hits the piles

of tins or boxes at the end of each row.

I've had enough now, I'm going off home,

to bake some bread with the purchased dough.

So there we have it, a right old Sho Ping moan.

I get my delivered for 50 p a week between tue and thurs it got to much for me it's so easy and sainsbury s bring all up the stairs and into kitchen always treat um it's been a life line. But love your rap Take care

We’re in the middle of a cracking thunderstorm and my favourite chair in the garden is sitting like an island in a small lake, but despite all this, today’s rhyme has made me smile! The biggest thing on my shopping list is motivation - I’ll need a couple of bucket loads today - firstly to make me go and get showered and dressed!
