Pulmonary rehabilitation

Hi all, went for assessment last week, very nice chap, wasn't what I expected, just a questionaire about my general health and some stats taken.

As I've my cardio test on Monday and the course starts Tuesday I may not be able to attend until the next course as the assessor said it will depend on my results which he will try to get, as it's a late afternoon hospital appointment this isn't looking likely, so will have to wait until the next one.

Apparently I am going to be the youngest they've had in a long while at 49 almost 50 years of age 😎.

Out of curiosity, has anyone used the nicorette inhilator? I've been using it since I packed in the smokes 6 months ago and the last month or two have been getting very chesty and phlegmy when I use it.

I'm only using one cartridge a day in it and it's probably more of a habit thing now, I actually tried taking a drag out of a biscuit I was eating the other day, not realising as I was engrossed in a film 😂😂.

2 weeks to go before my place of work closes, my boss has told me just to continue with sick notes until then but I don't know what to do afterwards about claiming benefits etc... Any assistance on that would be much appreciated.

Take care and happy sunday

Yeah, they ain't cheap, I'll have to have a look at eBay, or maybe just stop them altogether now, I don't believe I need them any longer.

Hi Kieth, the chesty phlegm is probably your lungs having a clear out. The inhalators worked for me, not smoked for over two years. Hang in there.

Seems odd that it only happens when I put a fresh cartridge in, but who knows. Probably time to stop them now.
