Aria on a mission..

So shiny.. coming from behind the Christmas tree we potted in the garden, I expect it was cool and shady behind there..

I went to the pool, did my first 30 mn exercising since beginning of March. So making a start again!

Next to me was a ninety-year-old lady I hadn’t seen since last time, she was in the pool for a good hour I would have thought. She had all the exercise toys. Gave me strength! Aiming at my 3x a week again and pulmonary rehab so should get back on my feet..baby steps 🌻

Have a lovely Sunday 🌸🌷

Good morning Happy person or should i say afternoon, you have been very proactive today and i imagine gentle swimming is a tolerable exercise with your recent back problems.i imagine like Scruffy,Aria declined the invitation to join you in your watery pleasure preferring to take cover behind the pine needles whilst espying next doors rabbit heaven no doubt.enjoy the rest of your sunny day..............Ski's and a bone dry cat xx

Good afternoon⛷!!

I didn’t swim today I did an aquagym mix with my double spectacles lol 👓🕶didn’t want to risk chlorine water in my eyes 😃

Hello Fran, I'm pleased to see your making good use of that sun😊🌞.

Cloudy and grey here today...but dry! So at least that's something! Funny how our expectations change😂.

Aria is looking glossy and gorgeous...obviously enjoying the weather too! Oh to be a cat...🐈😉

Have a good one xxx

You have to choose your owners(I mean staff) very carefully though. Aria obviously has!

Hidden what a shining example you set for some if us,less active members. If I wore a hat, I'd definitely be taking it off to you! Swimming is so good for moving all the muscles in our body and also the fact that you've been brave enough to get back in after a short spell of being out of action. Not much ever seems to keep you down?!?

in reply to SquirrelsHolt

You are very kind Squirrel 😊

I have to gather the mental strength and energy to do it. Cup of coffee and 2 to 4 puffs of reliever is a good kick forward..

I just know that if I don’t get moving again I’ll end up in a wheelchair..and I can’t face that. In fact your body tells you when it’s time, it wasn’t time before but it is now.

I went for a massage afterwards. They have a physio in that sport centre. She got rid of all the knots around that fractured vertebrae, I could have cried but all of a sudden no pain. Now I am laying on my heating pad on the couch quite pleased with myself, cup of tea, Paris playing tonight and tomorrow is an other day!

Wishing you well x

She looks like a " Pussy on a mission"! Very determined. 😊 Well done for getting back to Swimming. I did my usual half mile this morning. Weather is awful here. Hope your day went well. 😊🏊☔

in reply to Dubba61

Half mile that’s very good Dubba!! 😊

It may rain here tonight but it was ok today. Yes today was a good day thank you.

Wishing you a good week,

Well i worked up to it Fran. Could only manage 8 lengths around 5 years ago n just added a couple each week. I find it helps my breathing n my aches from the Osteopenia. Thankyou, i am off on Holidays later this week. 1st time in 2 years! Very excited. 😊🏖️☀️

in reply to Dubba61

It’s great Dubba. It certainly helps. I just count the minutes, I usually do 30 mns when I am well one length on the front and one on the back. In fact I could manage an hour but first I do 15 mns on the treadmill and 15mns on the bike.

Have a lovely holiday!!! 🌼🌻🍦🍫👓xx

You’re definitely moving the right way with your visit to the pool. I love swimming and used to go three times a week up until Christmas. I had to stop then because of increasing pain the joints in my ankles making swimming too painful! Strangely I can still walk and take my dogs for three of four miles a day. Keep up the good work.

in reply to helenlw7

Thank you Helen 😊

Well actually I know what you mean, I was ok after the post aquagym massage but since shopping and cooking today I had to take a couple of panadol my rib cage hurting, so exercising at a price 😃

Hey Fran!

Great news about the swimming. And wasn’t it lovely here in London yesterday as well? Can only hope we’ve seen the last of the bad weather for a while now.

We’re into May. The wheel has turned once more. Bring on the summer! xx
