CURSED ... Not With Some COMMEN COLD

Nothing some chicken soup and good nights sleep will cure make go away eather.

But a god awful LUNG disease.

And here is how the story GO’s there was a anonymous cantankerous lung diseased man who live down the street behind a mask, he could of been anybody. Your neighbour, partner a work college a brother.

He appeared to be the most cantankerous man you ever would meet. his booming vile coughs spluttering and curses could be heard far wide, he had a frazzled blown up look about him that would have everyone flee in fear dismay.

If only people could see what lays deep within THEY would see a man in a daily struggle who could hardly talk walk catch he’s breath LET alone repeat him self

He always seemed to be dying from some god awful disease.

He'd emerge from his home covered in fag ash egg and beans struggling to breath.

He’d look to the heavens with garden gate to steady him and he’s stick in hand waiting to catch he’s breath when he would try to make is move.

With a fart rumble and a splutter this anonymous cantankerous man in he’s mask would try raise a strained smile.

The neighbours rumbled complained given he appeared antisocial diseased grumpy always awful is ALL the neighbours could WOULD see.

WAS this cantankerous man in a mask THAT coughed spluttered and farted

Neighbours would say rumble he should be committed, He’s diseased insane.

Not knowing THE man behind the mask and what lays deep within BUT given the ignorance not knowing the cantankerous man in the mask HOW could they know ONE summers night, a few years back beheld an incredible sight.

This cantankerous dieased man in a mask was just like ME and YOU till this god awful lung disease took he’s life and breath away.

luckily for THIS man this god awful lung disease HAD not taken his memoirs.

Starring out of HIS window YOU would see this cantankerous man in mask behind battered old window frames.

Looking for ghosts from his past.

His hands would tremble with emotion with the life he once had lost NOW as.

A photo a memory and a salty wet tear he gassp treasure THINKING what as happened NOW to his life.

..............................................

That’s as much of the story I can think of SO if others would like to ADD finish.

Feel free to post in comment

Well done JAS that’s very impressive.

He’s staring out of the window thinking of the family and friends he once had.

Nobody visits now but he does have one neighbour who does a bit of shopping and takes him to appointments.

If only people could see behind the mask............

Anyone else? Xxxxxx

In a tin box in the old dresser, he keeps an old birthday greeting card, faded and grubby after years of taking it out and remembering the dear one who gave it to him. In the card is a dried grey green four leaf clover. When he touches it, he is transported back to that wonderful sunny day in May when life was full of promise....
