Those pottery rabbits are shiny little guards!!😃

Aria sits behind them at night thinking they are in her way I think.

The lawn in front of the block of flats is beautiful! Makes me think Wimbledon isn’t so far ahead.

I am glad I have a ground floor flat so I can enjoy my garden patch. The gentleman who does the maintenance sits on his mobile lawnmower all day getting a tan. I think it is his favourite time of year. Hard work shovelling snow in the winter..

So seasons come and go but we remain contemplating..

What a tranquil view, thanks Fran. I was admiring that immaculate hedge in the distance too.

Is that a Skimmia in your garden, or is it another shrub? My daughter bought me one ages ago and this year it's the best it has been.....covered in flowers.

I have a couple of shiny pottery cats that guard my garden, but the birds realise they are harmless.

Yes the council does the hedge, behind is the beach and the lake so, it cuts my view being on the ground floor but in the summer Dad and I were grateful as it is packed with people having a bbq.

Our neighbours get the lake view but the disadvantages. Although on the third floor they can see up to the Jet d’eau in Geneva.

I have 2 potted skimmias Bea got for Christmas but I think that one is more of an orange blossom variety.

Haha..yes Aria prefers the real rabbit two doors away. Bea got those as a deterrent but it didn’t work either 😃

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say,how many working eyes have we today my happy friend that captured this lovely view in a varifocal way and are we done and dusted with the hospital for the time being?

The lawn looks meticulously maintained as does the hedge in the background and your council chappy deserves his tractor bathing as reward for his efforts.

Looks like I took a yearly subscription to the local hospital 😃

It’s when you get called Hi Fran in corridors that you start thinking hmmm I’m a regular visitor, I mean even the guy in the cafeteria is called François and gives me the extra chocolate 🍫 with my coffee☕️

Being a regular used to have its advantages at closing time!! 🍻

Eyes 👀 recovery is slow, I live in a blurry world despite the varifocals and hidden under very large sunglasses but it is improving.

The temperature here in the Midlands has been just right for me - warm enough not to wear a jumper but not so hot that I’m in a melted heap! Our eldest son got married on Saturday in the Cotswolds and it was warm enough for the ceremony to take place outside. It was a lovely day, although there were two amazing lightning storms!
