Restricted?

Just tried to vote in a poll and received an error saying I was restricted and to contact admin for explanation.

Hi Dmactds. If you had been restricted you would not have been able to post so I am assuming it was a glitch. If it continues please contact [e-mail] via email.

NB If we had restricted your account for some reason we would have sent you a message to notify and explain.

It was from "Jilly girl"..., she'd sent out a couple of polls and I was simply trying to answer them.

I got a note from her a few days ago saying she'd deleted one of my posts for some reason but nothing about a 'restriction'..

Now I am completely baffled. Only the BLF can set Polls on here. Are you on the right forum? We don't have a Jilly girl moderating on here.

The initial poll invite was email; then when I tried to answer the poll, got an error about restriction... by jilly girl at the quit smoke thing..., don't know how I got on her mailing list.

You are listed as a member on their site, which explains being sent the email. If you were not aware you were restricted there or why then you can send a message to Jillygirl to enquire. healthunlocked.com/user/jil...

If you don't wish to follow the site then go to it via the link I gave above and click to 'unfollow'.

Went to the site, there's a box with a plus sign and the word follow in it, clicked it and got the word following with a check mark, but when I hover above the box it changes to an x with the word unfollow; I'm thoroughly gobsmacked myself MrsMummy...; I left it at "follow" with the plus sign....; what SHOULD it be??

If you look above on BLF you will see a tick and the word 'Following' which means exactly that, that you are following the forum. Hovering over the box means that the image changes to 'x Unfollow'. Clicking it means you are no longer following that forum and it will then return to 'Follow', which is an invitation. I hope this helps.

I know..., I've already done that and it simply proves that I'm not "following" the 'Quit' site as the box there says "Follow"....; I dunno..., I'm just gonna ignore anything else I get from her. Like I said, I dunno how I got on her mail list anyway since I'm not "Following" the group.

Perhaps you need to notify [e-mail] because you are on their member list.
