It's no good me saying don't worry. Try to relax and wait and see what is said. Tell them what it is really like for you. Collect as much evidence as you can.

Just say it as it is. Remember they are assessing you. My granddaughter has cerebral palsy her walking is not good and they asked her who lives at home does she have any pets. She said yes we have a dog.

Bet you like taking her for a walk was the reply.

Well she can’t she has 2 inverted feet so that was a catch in my opinion.

Just give them a rundown of what your obstacles are. Hope all goes well.

Good luck, I had an assessment at home in October my pip was stopped as the assessor said he observed me walking 250 metres without stopping.( I never left the house) I have emphysema, asthma and lung cancer..my money was stopped.i applied for reconsideration and still it was declined. I have now sent in my appeal, in December and was told my cae will not be heard for another 14 weeks, p.i.p. it;'s a joke.My Mcmillan nurse is furious, so I have had no monet sice end on November.. I wih you the best of Luck

Oh dear that's awful! My very disabled friend was told, by them that No, he hadn't had a stroke, because he could still Swim?! He took them to tribunal and got it back. Government is in big trouble with The European courts for not paying enough money to the disabled. So hopefully you'll get yours back. 🤞😊

What a disgrace joycet, do you have a case worker that can take this on for you. It makes me so mad when I hear of this going on, especially when you are probably too poorly to fight your case. Do you have family near that can help you. Take good care . Irene x

Tell them about your "worse" days. Not your better ones. Be descriptive about your conditions. Hope it goes well.😊🤞

Hi all, my McMillan nurse is fighting this for me, they even stopped the mobility part too even though I was told I had this for life because of the deteriorating emphysema, the annoying thing is these assessors lie on many occasions and they get away with it, I am sure they get a bonus for every person whose money is stopped.I also have pleural plaque which was diagnosed in September and although it is benign at the moment I have been told by mu Consultant it can become malignant at any time there is a 95% chance it will. My cancer operation was carried out in London and because the tumour had grown rapidly it meant they removed top lobe, half of middle lobe and 2 ribs, I struggle to breathe the majority of the time, and have very little strength in my right arm and hand. will keep you posted about how it goes

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they lie! What sort of a person would do such a job?! Everythings a business these days. S,all about making money or saving money! And you've suffered so much, already. I,m sure though that they,ll listen to your McMillan nurse. My best wishes to you. Dee😊

hi . yes I should have gone two years ago but they cancelled the appointment the day before and gave me a new one for 4 weeks later at my home unfortunately I had to go into hospital at the time of the home appointment so they stopped my claim and I have to wait all this time to get another one after a reclaim and a letter from my GP like you say some good advice on here. will let you all know how things go
