Happy Memories.

I was lucky when I was born

I'd nothing wrong with me.

Young and fit and healthy

Strong and fancy free.

But slowly as the years went by

The ailments mounted up.

But even taking account of those

I still have a half full cup.

The happy memories that we have,

Gathered from far and wide.

Can be used to keep us going

Whilst we take our ailments in our stride.

My view of life is a glass half full rather than half empty. Mind you I am being sorely tested at the moment - my oh is undergoing tests for dementia, he’s also just had a cataract op. The stress of all of this has put my RA into a massive flare up, and to top it all we are due to pick up our new caravan next week. This should be an exciting time for after our last one was stolen nine months ago but I can’t help wondering how our futures will pan out.

Keep up the rhymes, Don, they brighten my day.

You can't avoid it being an exciting time picking up a new caravan and it's just what you need to relax you. ;-)

It’s definitely what I need - to relax. I’m always at my best in the caravan - the aches and pains don’t seem so bad then. We’re off to Nottinghamshire for a few days with it to check everything works and also to introduce our puppy to the caravanning way of life!
