Hi there partner had her scan two weeks ago and normally the sister on the ward usually rings her with the results but she has not this time does it mean bad news, she's terrified, if anything would they let her know straight away or wait until three weeks for consultants app

Thanks that's what I thought, but it must be scary for anyone going through cancer,

Yes it is unnerving when you are going through cancer to have to wait. I would say no news is good news in general. Hope all goes well for your partner when they see the consultant.

I would ring them. I agree with Shancock though, if it was serious I reckon you would have been called. It’s probably an oversight.

Hello Shazza71, I agree with Shancock, if it was serious I would think you would have heard something by now. However, to put your mind at rest maybe ring them I know I would. I hope the results are good news, please let us know how you get on? Take care 🤞
