You can find one on Amazon...My own cost about £8.00 from China. When you get yours the next time you go to your GP take it with you. Test yours against theirs to ensure the reading is the same. My own reads 2% lower than my GPs.

Please read the operating instructions as it's very easy to get a false reading.

My is 1% by the asthma nurse’s meter. It sure if hers had been recently calibrated though. Just allow for the difference. I consider mine good value for £8. against £50 +

May do you more harm than good really, you yourself will know how well/bad your breathing is and many will give you different readings depending on where you attach the thing. They always have trouble getting a correct reading from me, they try different fingers, each hard , bottom and top of my ears!

You don't have to pay much for a good oximeter especially on eBay some of the cheap ones are better than the more expensive ones... when you do get one make sure you replace the battery when it's only half worn out .....It tends to give a wrong reading once the battery gets down to about 50% and always clean the part where you fingers go with a clean cloth with isopropyl alcohol,,, once in a while.
