Hi

Quote,

Statistics are also unavailable on the time it takes for reconsiderations to be completed.DWP does not have a target completion time for reconsiderations and a number of witnesses suggested that a target time or time-limit should be introduced. For "straightforward cases", where it is not necessary for further information to be sought, DWP expects the process to take around 14 days. However, DWP emphasised that it could take longer, especially if additional information is Needed.

Complete article.

Oh how I agree with you. The DWP often leave vulnerable in desperate need. Sadly it is the system/rules. Of course the bank holiday will delay it more, do you not have a freind or someone you could borrow from till its determined. Maybe not such a good idea because if they reduce it you won't have the money to pay back what you borrowed. If you lived near me I could lend you some food. Hope it is sorted soon.

Did you ring the BLF helpline as advised the last time you posted? There is also Age Concern and CAB. Unfortunately they are closed now until after Easter, as most places will be.
