Online Shopping.

I do my shopping all online

It’s easier to do.

Except for just one little thing

I’m going to tell to you.

The problem that I have I fear

Is a misbehaving mouse.

It orders stuff I shouldn’t have

For delivery to the house.

I do my best to grab it back

Come back here I wail

But now it’s gone all wireless

And it doesn’t have a tail.

It wanders up and down the isles

Clicking there and here

I try to keep it well away

From where they keep the beer.

It knows I’m diabetic

But it doesn’t give a fig

Clicking on the chocolate

Has me looking like a pig.

And so I’ve had to cage it

When I go to shop online.

The keyboard now it has to be

Though it takes a bit more time.

Touch pads on laptops are my nemesis, my finger's skin is too hard, I always have to plug in a mouse or use the keyboard. I also have a hard time with mobile phones.

I buy little stylus things that plug into the headphone sockets.

The thing I find annoying is that it doesn’t seem to mind to make a substitute, ad lib, of quite a different kind

of item, from what I had in mind!.

What is the good of sweet corn when what I want’s corned beef?

And tuna steak ain’t rump, mate! It looks wrong on my plate....so it’s always tempting fate, mate,

to leave it up to Tesco. Best go there yourself - selecting from the shelf.....you choose, not receiving random veg instead of peas or cauliflower instead of cheese!

But that, I must say, is all a lot of talk....

My mouse has a mind of it's own too. It once ordered 3 boxes of Chocolate Turkish delight. I felt obliged to eat it of course. One of your best Don ! Sheila x
