Midge my dog was whining,
I'm wondering what for.
She's not long had her dinner,
Is she now wanting more?
Perhaps she wants to toilet,
I open up the door.
She just sits and stares at me.
The rain begins to pour.
We're staring at each other now,
Trying to understand,
What the others asking for,
What do they demand.
Finally I get it
It's as I might have guessed,
It isn't Midge that whines at all,
It's me,.... my flipping chest!
