Jimmy do you just suffer from asthma? Or have you another underlying condition? What scans etc have you been given? Pneumonia can take a long time to recover from and it can leave you open to infections and other problems. Was your pneumonia treated by the Hospital or GP.

Yep suffer with asthma, been quite bad lately. Was hospitalised for a short time with pneumonia just over 2 years ago.

A quick question do you smoke? Second question as your GP sent you for a CT scan or X-rays due to your repeated infections. Have you had any breathing test performed? If you are getting repeated infections then I believe you should ask your GP to refer you to a respiratory consultant to investigate the cause further.

Ex smoker but given up when got pneumonia first time. Had scan/X-rays when in hospital twice with infections. It’s getting in the way of life now, had 3 months off work last 2 or so years as a result.

Oh dear so sorry for you. I suggest when your over this you ask to be referred to a lung specialist who can perform various tests to see what's going on. Obviously a CT scan to have a good look in the lungs.

Tips for health, eat 5 a day, lots of Brocolli and Spinach and blueberries. Spoon of a Manuka honey everyday. Water lots of it. Vitamin C and D3 and iron. Wholewheat and nuts too are great walnuts, almonds pecans etc. Obviously providing no allergies. Smoothie everyday. Trying to be as healthy as possible will protect you against these horrible infections. When better hav eteh flu jab every year and ask for pneumonia jab too, you need it!

Always wrap up warm , rest when your poorly and if anyone has a cold, flu bug etc tell them not to go visit you. We can't keep, ourselves away from all germs but we can make sure we don't invite them in!

I hope you get well soon and can see someone to give you some answers. Hoepfully you'll have better year when this one clears up.
