Dermatology results

Hello I've received my biopsy results today about this rash I have had and dermatologists said it's drug related to Colomycin so I've to stop nebulising colomycin for 3 months. It is such a disappointment this drug has kept my lungs clear. 😢 😢 Majt

Sorry for the bad news. You expected that to be the case.. I know it is hard changing medication especially when it is useful.. I have seen other people on the forum writing about allergic reaction to colomycin so I am sure doctors will have an appropriate alternative for you.

Hello Fran, Yes it was disappointing but a least I know the cause of my skin complaint, its a shame when the drug has helped a lot but these things happen 3 months is a long time to be without the treatment and it frightens me that this pseudomonas will come back.
